I am excited to showcase one of my early mentors in GIS, really my first mentor in GIS, Sean Christian, who has over 30+ years experience as a Professional Engineer at the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts. Sean championed GIS, not just at the Districts, but along with many others in Los Angeles County during the early days of inter-agency collaboration on GIS data, training, and tooling!
Sean has taken his years of experience to now teach GIS and continue to be a mentor to generations of GIS professionals!

Today, I'm talking to Daniel Smith, Sr. Solution Architect at Wherobots and long time geo-wizard! He talks about what happens when your geospatial data goes from a few shapefiles to 40 terabytes a day.
